Hiya

My name is Gretchen Hammell! 

I am a mixed media and multidisciplinary artist whose work often explores a childlike engagement and curiosity with the natural world. I am based in rural Vermont, and growing up in the woods has defiantly impacted how I create as well as how I carry myself in my day to day.

I write and illustrate children's books, paint murals, do a variety of printmaking, installation work, typography, and book arts!
